Carolin Göhler FLI concludes her term as President of the Landscape Institute on 30 June 2026.
Over the past three years, she has led an ambitious programme to strengthen and stabilise the Institute so that we can be better equipped to support members, champion the profession and increase the positive impact our members have on people, places and nature.
Under Carolin’s leadership, we have a new Corporate Strategy with a refreshed brand and have invested significantly in a digital transformation programme that will enable us to be more accessible and responsive to members.
Alongside this, our governance has been improved, the senior leadership team has been reshaped and refocused, and new ways of working have been successfully embedded.
Throughout her presidency, Carolin has been a passionate advocate for landscape professionals. She has been a driving force in demonstrating to government, industry, clients and the wider public how a landscape-led approach to planning, design and development can deliver better outcomes for people, place and nature. By raising the profile of the profession, she has also helped to strengthen the voice of every member working to create healthier, more resilient and more sustainable places.
As a result of Carolin as our President, we are a stronger, more collaborative Institute with members firmly at our heart. We very much look forward to continuing to work with Carolin both on the Board and as part of the team in her role as Immediate Past President for the next year.
