New Policy & Public Affairs Committee appointed

The Landscape Institute has completed its recruitment round for the Policy & Public Affairs Committee, bringing together a group of members – both existing and new – to shape our work on issues that matter most to the profession.

The Committee plays a central role in developing LI policy, strengthening our public affairs work, and making the case for landscape to decision-makers across government, partners and wider stakeholders.

We also want to recognise the contribution of those who have stepped down after serving on the Policy & Public Affairs Committee and its predecessor, the Policy & Communications Committee. Their expertise, spanning landscape practice, natural systems, planning policy, and the links between place and human health, has been invaluable. Over many years, they have helped build the LI’s policy voice into what it is today, and laid the ground for its future development. We are enormously grateful for their time, knowledge, commitment and the contacts they have put at the LI’s disposal. The LI is a membership organisation. Volunteer expertise is what makes our work possible. Thank you.
