The Landscape Institute (LI) is delighted to announce Maeve Campbell as host of the Landscape Institute Awards 2026.
Maeve brings a wealth of experience in climate, sustainability and live broadcasting to the LI Awards 2026. As a presenter and producer at award-winning Channel 4 News, she is a respected voice on climate change and has hosted major events including the Blue Earth Summit, the UN’s Goals House, the Regenerative Agriculture Summit and Channel 4’s first Climate Summit. Passionate about solutions-focused journalism, Maeve has championed conversations around sustainability throughout her career, including founding the pioneering Green section at Euronews. She also writes a monthly column for Forbes and serves as a Media Advisor for the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
The LI Awards celebrate the very best in landscape planning, design, management and research in the UK and internationally. One of the leading events in the landscape industry calendar, the Awards bring together professionals and leaders from across the built and natural environment to celebrate the people and projects shaping better places for people, place and nature, and the myriad ways that landscape projects connect them.
This year’s shortlisted projects showcase the vital contribution landscape makes to tackling global challenges including climate change, biodiversity, health and wellbeing. They also demonstrate the environmental, social and economic benefits of putting landscape at the heart of how we plan and create better places to live. The event provides an opportunity to network with peers, share ideas, and showcase best practice.
