Leeds Beckett student wins award

Alana Silk, MA Landscape Architecture student at Leeds Beckett University was chosen for the award for her consistently creative and carefully researched work. Her main project was based in the market town of Castleford, West Yorkshire setting out a vision for a sustainable future. The work focused on questions about how market towns could thrive, how we can intertwine nature within the urban footprint and breathe new life into public spaces. Her work convincingly covered the scales from bold visionary thinking to the technical detail of river edge habitat restoration.
